Job summary

Walmart Canada in Concord, Ontario is seeking team members to participate in a structured maintenance cleaning program, helping to keep the store clean, safe, and compliant for customers and associates.

You will comply with all Food Safety standards, routinely clean Fresh Departments including coolers, freezers and display fixtures, inspect maintenance and cleaning equipment, and ensure supplies are available.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform cleaning tasks in a retail environment.
• Familiarity with basic safety standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with associates on a comprehensive cleaning regimen.
• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments including coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in inspecting maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensure sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by completing required in-store certification programs and adhering to company policies and procedures.
• When required, clean floors following a system of mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.

• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.05.
