Job summary

Walmart Canada in Peterborough, ON is looking for a part-time Maintenance Cleaning Associate to participate in a structured cleaning program and help keep the store clean and safe for customers and associates. You will follow food safety standards, clean Fresh Departments, inspect equipment, and help maintain supplies.

This entry-level role starts at $18.05 per hour and offers an opportunity to grow within Walmart Canada.

• Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with the associates on a comprehensive cleaning regiment.
• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments including coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Inspects maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures.
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.
