Job summary

Walmart Canada in Oakville, ON is seeking a part-time cleaning associate to participate in a structured maintenance cleaning program and help maintain a clean, safe store environment. You will work with store teams to clean Fresh Departments, coolers, freezers and fixtures, inspect equipment, and ensure supplies are stocked.

A minimum age of 18 is required, and the role includes safety certifications. The minimum hourly rate starts at $18.05 CAD.

• Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with the associates on a comprehensive cleaning regiment.
• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.
