Job summary

Flanagan Foodservice Inc. is seeking a Logistics Outbound Supervisor to lead the daily outbound routing across our transportation network.

You will guide the Routing team to plan safely, efficiently and cost‑effectively, with accountability for planning, performance management and continuous improvement. A champion of people and process, you will coach and empower your team to deliver exceptional results by overseeing day‑to‑day routing operations while contributing to long‑term strategic

Qualifications

Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related discipline.
3–5 years of transportation, routing or logistics experience.
Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
Experience with Roadnet or similar routing software.
Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Knowledge of Hours of Service and routing best practices.

Responsibilities

Lead the daily route planning process across Distribution Centers to optimize service, productivity and cost.
Coach and develop the Outbound Routing Coordinators and promote a culture of accountability.
Monitor KPIs and drive improvements in routing efficiency, uptime, and customer service.
Prepare reports and present recommendations to the Director of Transportation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align routing with business priorities.
Maintain routing SOPs and planning standards and act as backup to routing team as needed.
