Job summary

Triple M Metal LP is seeking a Rail Logistics Supervisor to lead daily rail transportation operations, ensuring reliable railcar supply and strong carrier performance. You will own the routing strategy, optimize costs, and drive data accuracy across ERP systems.

The role requires coordinating with rail carriers, supervising coordinators, and guiding cross-functional teams to improve service reliability and reduce demurrage impact. On-site role with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in rail transportation, fleet optimization, or logistics operations.
Experience with Class I rail carriers and shortline railroads.
Experience supervising/coaching a team in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day relationships with Class I and shortline rail carriers.
Proactively monitor railcar availability against production, shipping, and sales needs.
Own demurrage cost control and escalate when service failures threaten costs.
Provide tactical guidance to Coordinators on routing optimization and risk.
Ensure ERP data synchronization with Mayer to support reporting and cost allocation.
