Job summary

ABC Supply is seeking a Delivery Services Manager to schedule and route product deliveries, coordinate fleet maintenance, and keep customers informed on delivery status. The role requires leadership, strong communication, and experience with dispatch operations.

Responsibilities include ensuring loads comply with weight limits, maintaining driver certifications, and adhering to OSHA procedures. Position based in Kingston, Ontario, with on-site duties and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven leadership experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry.
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities and manage multiple service needs simultaneously.
• Previous dispatch experience is preferred; mechanical knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and route product deliveries.
• Ensure loads stay within vehicle weight limits.
• Assign appropriate delivery vehicles for job sites.
• Route vehicles to service facilities for repairs as needed.
• Update customers on delivery status and timelines.
• Ensure OSHA and federal road procedures are followed.
• Assist in hiring drivers and material handlers, plus performance management.
• Coordinate fleet maintenance and ensure repairs are completed properly.
• Schedule training for drivers and ensure certifications are current.
