Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking an Oracle Functional Analyst to advance Oracle HCM Cloud, Financials, Payroll and HRMS across the business. You will collaborate with technical teams and end-users to resolve incidents and deliver functional expertise on Oracle solutions.

You will support incident management, testing, training, and knowledge transfer while adhering to Stantec’s delivery framework. Strong HR/payroll knowledge and ITIL familiarity are essential.

Qualifications

• Understanding of functional configuration and system flows to deliver functionality.
• Good understanding of HR and Payroll principles, concepts and processes.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices and end-user system practices.
• Experience with QA/testing tools and test case development.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 2+ years of related Oracle HCM/Taleo/HRMS experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor incidents and service interruptions in the IT service center.
• Provide functional expertise for Oracle HCM, Taleo and HR implementations.
• Contribute to design, configuration, integration, testing, training and post-production support.
• Guide team on Oracle HCM best practices and HR solution functionality.
• Perform period-end processing and table updates per procedures.
• Support acquisitions migrations and testing.
• Collaborate with developers/analysts when needed for resolutions.
• Identify opportunities to reduce incidents via end-user education.
• Log requests with vendors and coordinate diagnostics and actions.
• Plan and execute functional/system tests and develop test cases.
• Consult business analysts on end-user practices and processes.
• Adhere to Stantec’s processes for delivery, incident, and change management.
