Job summary

Mr Apple is seeking a hands-on leader to head a binstore team during packing season and gain orchard experience in the growing season. This 12‑month fixed-term role offers a unique blend of operations leadership and horticulture exposure.

You will coach the team, safeguard product quality, manage inventory and coordinate movements with packhouse, transport and orchard crews to maximise efficiency. If you enjoy solving operational challenges and driving continuous improvement while building

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supervising a team.
• Forklift operating experience and willingness to obtain licences.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to coordinate multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong working relationships.
• Confidence using computers and systems, including basic Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and support the binstores team to achieve daily operational goals
• Oversee the safe storage, treatment and dispatch of fruit while maintaining product quality
• Manage inventory accuracy, data recording and traceability requirements
• Coordinate fruit movements with packhouse, transport and orchard teams to maximise efficiency
• Run daily planning sessions and ensure resources are aligned to operational demands
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork and accountability
