Job summary

Sorted Logistics in Auckland is hiring for two permanent night shift forklift roles, 8:30pm–5:30am, Monday–Saturday, with 51 hours per week. The role centers on loading/unloading palletised freight, moving goods with forklifts, and ensuring accurate dispatch.

Two positions available with training provided for split forks; a Forklift Licence is required, plus a strong commitment to safety and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year warehouse experience in a similar role.
• Current OSH Forklift Licence and proven forklift operating experience.
• Split fork experience desirable but training provided.
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to health and safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading palletised freight.
• Operating forklifts to move, stack and position goods safely and efficiently.
• Using split forks to handle double pallet movements (training can be provided).
• Receiving and dispatching freight with a high degree of accuracy.
• Completing pre-start equipment checks and reporting maintenance requirements.
• Releasing, checking and finalising freight ready for dispatch.
• Taking shared responsibility for a safe and clean warehouse environment.
• Working closely with the wider warehouse and transport teams to meet deadlines.

Location: Ōtāhuhu, Auckland | Full-time | 51 hours per week | Shift Available: Monday to Saturday, 8:30pm - 5:30am

Fantastic opportunity to join our Auckland Warehouse team in a varied and hands-on role, supporting our night shift operations. This role is primarily focused on forklift activities, including loading and unloading palletised freight, putaways, stock movements, and dispatch preparation, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods throughout the warehouse.

We currently have two positions available:

• 2 x Night Shift: 8:30pm - 5:30am, Monday to Saturday

What you'll bring:

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• At least 1 year's experience within a warehouse environment in a similar role
• A current OSH Forklift Licence and proven forklift operating experience
• Split fork experience is highly desirable but not essential, as training can be provided
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organisational skills and commitment to following processes
• A strong commitment to health and safety
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
