Job summary

HDR is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to join our Transportation Construction Services group for the Ontario Line project in Ontario. You will coordinate an onsite team of inspectors, maintain daily logs, prepare correspondence, and support project meetings to ensure on-time delivery and quality.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in large civil or transit projects, proficiency with MS Office, and a track record of effective communication.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent. (Candidates with 8 years of relevant construction inspection experience may substitute)
• Minimum of 5 years experience in construction project coordination of large civil and transit infrastructure projects
• Proficient with MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)
• Strong written communication and ability to work independently and in a team

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for a wide variety of specialized project-related administrative and accounting functions
• Coordinate and monitor onsite inspection duties and tasks to ensure they are completed and diaries kept up to date
• Attend site walks and construction activities to support field observations and documentation
• Promote and oversee health and safety policies and procedures
• Liaise with contractor and client representatives and organize project meetings
