Job summary

BGO in Victoria, BC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative and responsive maintenance, repairs, and support day-to-day operations of the property, delivering resident service and coordinating with vendors.

This on-site role requires a High School Diploma, knowledge of Microsoft Office, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, plus a criminal background check. Training and on-call duties are included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Criminal clearance required for employment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and responsive maintenance.
• Complete general repairs and support day-to-day operations of the property.
• Deliver resident service by responding to maintenance requests, coordinating with vendors, and assisting with suite turnovers.
• Seasonal grounds maintenance, emergency on-call support, and ensuring health and safety compliance.
