Job summary

Broadstreet Properties Ltd. is seeking a Maintenance Technician in the Comox Valley, BC. You’ll diagnose and repair plumbing, heating, electrical issues, fix windows, doors, appliances, paint, drywall, and maintain building exteriors.

The role requires 2+ years in a maintenance-related role, completion of relevant trade or certification, and a valid driver’s license. On-call rotation, mobile work orders, and strong problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

2+ years’ experience in a maintenance related role.
Completion of relevant trade, technical certification, or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of hand tools and repair equipment.
Experience using computers, smartphones, and tablets for email and work orders.
Availability to work on-call on rotational basis.
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

Diagnosing and repairing basic to intermediate plumbing, heating and electrical problems.
Performing repairs on windows, blinds, doors, switches, plugs, appliances, equipment, fixtures and tile work.
Painting, drywall patching and related finish work.
Maintaining exterior of building including basic grounds maintenance.
Detecting faulty operations, reporting deficiencies.
