Job summary

Sun Life Financial in Waterloo, ON is seeking a campus graduate to join the On Site Support (OSS) team for a 4-month placement from January to April 2027. You will deploy Windows 11 laptops and desktops and provide post-upgrade support to end users while meeting predefined timelines.

Applicants must be enrolled in a university or college program in computer science or IT, with knowledge of Windows 11, PC hardware, networking (TCP/IP, VPN), and Microsoft 365.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a university degree or college program in computer science, information systems or information technology.
• Knowledge of Windows 11, PC setup, hardware repair and device connectivity.
• Understanding of WAN/LAN, VPN and MS Office365; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deploy Windows 11 laptops/desktops to end users.
• Execute upgrades per timeline; provide post-upgrade support.
• Manage inventory and lifecycle assets in the system.
• Assist end users and troubleshoot to restore services quickly.
