Job summary

Brandt is seeking an on-site, full-time technician to diagnose, service, and repair customer and dealer equipment. You will perform basic to complex diagnostics, disassembly/assembly, and preventive maintenance to ensure reliable operation and client satisfaction.

The role requires knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to mentor apprentices while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ relevant experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Possess computer and technical aptitude and knowledge for diagnostics and calibration work.
• Possess diagnostic skills to understand mechanical and technical repair needs.
• Strong time management and communication skills, both written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Operate within budgets and approvals established by the Service Manager.
• Maintain high levels of productivity, efficiency, and gross margin to contribute to branch goals.
• Achieve 98% quality first-time repair metric to minimize rework and improve customer satisfaction.
• Perform basic to complex diagnostics on power equipment to identify repair needs and minimize downtime.
• Diagnose, disassemble, assemble, and repair mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems to restore performance.
• Mentor and oversee apprentices to support their professional growth.
