Qualifications

• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems used in heavy equipment.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot battery and engine powered equipment.
• Experience with hand tools and diagnostic instruments.
• Familiarity with industrial equipment and service procedures.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose the condition of heavy duty equipment.
• Disassemble/reassemble, order parts, and repair as needed.
• Use tools and computer systems to document work performed.
• Ensure work is performed safely and to standards.
• Utilize parts catalogs and parts personnel to obtain components.
• Road test equipment and verify attachment operation.
• Maintain accurate work orders with actions and times.
