Job summary

Brandt is seeking a Resident Service Technician based in North, Canada. The role covers repair and maintenance of Construction and Forestry equipment in a shop setting, including diagnostics, parts orders, and safety compliance.

You will work at Brandt's North Valley branch, collaborating with customers and the service team to deliver reliable service and support for field operations. Strong mechanical skill and customer focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in heavy equipment maintenance preferred.
• Journeyperson certification in construction and forestry equipment trade or equivalent.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to meet physical demands (climbing, lifting, standing).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate working condition of equipment; diagnose, assemble/disassemble, order parts, and repair.
• Use related instruments, tools, and computer systems.
• Document on work orders all machine information, actions taken, and time.
• Assess task hazards and ensure safety standards are met.
• Use computer systems (e.g. John Deere Service Advisor) for maintenance documentation.
• Locate and order parts from parts personnel.
• Road test equipment and check attachment operation as required.
