Qualifications

• Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role.
• Experience in the Logistics, Transport or Freight industry will be highly regarded.
• Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Comfortable processing invoices and handling supplier queries.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
• Able to manage deadlines and prioritise daily tasks.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review and process supplier invoices.
• Check invoices for accuracy and ensure the appropriate approvals are in place.
• Match invoices against purchase orders and supporting documents.
• Process supplier payments in a timely manner.
• Reconcile supplier statements and follow up on discrepancies.
• Respond to supplier enquiries relating to invoices and payments.
• Maintain accurate supplier records.
• Assist with month-end activities and general accounts administration.
