Job summary

Accurate Indigenous Managers & Advisors is seeking an organized Administrative Assistant to manage daily office functions at our Winnipeg location. You will coordinate seminars, handle mail, prepare minutes, and support management with information flow and documentation.

Ideal candidates have a secondary school certificate and 2–3 years of relevant experience. The role requires on-site work, strong MS Office skills, and a focus on accuracy and customer service.

Qualifications

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience is preferred.
  • On site work with no remote option.

Responsibilities

  • Arrange and co-ordinate seminars, conferences, etc.
  • Coordinate the flow of information within the team
  • Open and distribute mail and other materials
  • Record and prepare minutes of meetings or conferences
  • Determine and establish office procedures and routines
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages
  • Answer electronic enquiries
  • Compile data, statistics and other information
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Liaise with management, union officials and HR consultants
  • Arrange travel itineraries and reservations
  • Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas
  • Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents
  • Perform data entry
  • Provide customer service
  • Maintain and manage digital database
