Job summary

Dexterra is seeking a permanent, full‑time Recruiter. Reporting to the Manager, Recruitment & Logistics, the role is based at the Horizon North Camps & Catering office in Edmonton, Alberta. You will identify staff, schedule site assignments, conduct phone interviews, use the ATS, and support onboarding.

Qualifications

• Diploma in HR or Business Administration preferred.
• 1+ years recruitment experience.
• 1+ years HR admin/recruitment experience.
• Ability to review resumes meeting company requirements for screening.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Windows-based systems; recruitment software is an asset.
• Flexibility to work after hours and be on-call.

Responsibilities

• Identify available staff to perform roles and schedule them accordingly.
• Communicate with field staff about site requirements.
• Coordinate with leadership on staff arrivals at site.
• Coordinate staff transportation to and from site.
• Forecast staffing needs for sites from rotational schedules.
• Maintain staff tracking and scheduling systems.
• Assist with posting jobs and conducting telephone interviews.
• Create offers and notify unsuccessful candidates.
