Job summary

Royal Camp Services Ltd. is seeking a Placement Coordinator to work from our South Edmonton office.

The role involves coordinating field staff for remote site assignments, managing communications via phone, email, and text, and overseeing daily operational tasks with a focus on safety and accuracy. The ideal candidate will handle high call volumes, maintain staff databases, and support logistics like travel arrangements while on-call evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Available for full-time work Mon-Fri.
• Start times 6:30AM or 8:00AM.
• On-call evenings and weekends on rotation.
• Experience coordinating staff in high-volume environment a plus.
• Post-secondary education an asset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field staff with assignments based on skills and site requirements.
• Maintain active available employee list and communicate staffing needs to Operations.
• Liaise between drivers, field staff, partner companies and office staff.
• Verify safety certifications and fit-for-duty status of field staff.
• Provide break and sick day coverage for front reception and greet visitors.
• Assist with warehouse order picking and cleaning duties.
• Manage daily operational documentation and update records.
• Record and maintain employee database records.
• Book hotels, taxis and buses for staff.
• Issue minor disciplinary infractions as needed.
• Perform other duties as required.
