Job summary

Kids & Company is seeking compassionate On-Call Supply Educators (Level 1-3) for the Central Edmonton location. This casual role covers planned and unplanned absences and may involve various age groups, offering flexible hours and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Alberta ECE Level 1-3 Certification required.
• Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search.
• Valid Standard Child Care First Aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate documentation, reporting and record keeping.
• Implement developmentally appropriate programming based on children's interests and needs.
• Support children's emotional, physical, social and cognitive development.
• Conduct attendance tracking and health and safety checks.
• Collaborate with families and external professionals as required.
• Support children through daily routines and transitions.
• Ensure compliance with Alberta licensing regulations and educator-to-child ratios.
• Adapt to different classrooms, age groups, and centre needs.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions and workshops when required.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment.
