Job summary

Michaels Stores in Langley, BC is seeking a store associate to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers find products, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout. You will assist with truck unload, stocking, and planograms, while maintaining store standards and safety policies.

This role supports omnichannel tasks like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store; prior retail or service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Comfort with cash handling and checkout standards.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS and SFS).
• Stocking, truck unload, and planogram (POG) duties.
• Maintain in-stock merchandise and perform merchandising recovery.
• Support safety, shrink, SOPs, and company policies.
• Interact respectfully with customers and teammates; be a positive role model.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
