ABOUT THE JOB
The Opportunity:
The Ministry of Social Services, Program Support Branch, is looking for an innovative, flexible, collaborative individual who will be responsible for overseeing day to day office and administrative operational requirements for the Swift Current office, including direction supervision of the Admin Support team.
Responsibilities
- Coach and support a diverse team to achieve performance goals and deliver results.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts to build and maintain a high-performing team.
- Develop and deliver orientation and training programs for new employees.
- Provide on-going guidance and coaching to staff to support strong performance and quality service delivery.
- Supervise administrative operations, managing high volumes of information, inquiries, and system workflows to ensure efficiency.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and service outcomes.
- Provide clear, accurate, and audience-appropriate responses to inquiries.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support organizational goals.
- Analyze issues, recommend practical solutions, and apply relevant legislation, policies, and procedures to daily operations.
- Perform budget-related calculations and process financial transactions accurately.
