Job summary

The Saskatchewan Health Authority in Regina is hiring an Executive Assistant to support the Vice President and the Office of the CEO. The role provides high-level administrative and project support, liaising with senior leaders and stakeholders to advance SHA objectives.

Job Description

The Executive Assistant is directly accountable to the Vice President of the Saskatchewan Health Authority, providing executive & project support in a one to one working relationship. Serving as the primary contact for internal & external stakeholders, the Executive Assistant acts as a liaison with the portfolio, Senior Leadership Team & Office of the Chief Executive Officer. The role supports the efficient operation of the Vice President's portfolio & Executive Office through timely & effective administrative support. Working collaboratively with senior leaders, the incumbent assists in achieving SHA objectives through research, analysis & the development of policies, briefings & proposals. Strong collaboration, coordination, organizational, project management & communication skills are essential. The position also coordinates workflow with Executive Office administrative staff & may provide support to the CEO, COO & other Senior Leadership Team members as required.

  • Have high degree of initiative, ingenuity & can work with little/no supervision
  • Working knowledge of SHA governance/org structure/relationships
  • Knowledge & experience in minute taking & synthesizing information
  • Can maintain confidentiality including confidential information with discretion.
  • Demonstrated approaches to problem solving w/strong decision-making capability
  • Advance computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Access).
  • Ability to work collegially, collaboratively and build positive relationships
  • Ability to be self-directed, creative, collaborative and to have sound judgement
Other Education and Training
  • Previous supervisory experience is an asset
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable
