Job summary

Langara College in Vancouver, BC is seeking a Nursing Simulation Laboratory Technician (Part Time) to support the nursing simulation program. You will operate simulation and recording systems, program mannequins, and maintain equipment for educators and students.

The role contributes to a safe, collaborative NSC environment and reports to the Division Chair, Nursing. A bachelor’s or related technical degree and relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, technology, or health-related field preferred.
• Minimum two years of related work experience.
• Experience with the use of related software and hardware, including video and audio recording equipment.
• Experience operating nursing simulation equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operates simulation, AV and recording technology for nursing scenarios.
• Programs mannequins and manages recording sessions.
• Maintains equipment and supports educators and students.
