Cambrian College in Burnaby is seeking an instructional support person to assist nursing students in laboratories and classrooms. You will help with demonstrations, prep assignments, and supervise safe lab use, while maintaining supplies and equipment for smooth instructional delivery.

Responsibilities include ordering, setting up tools, coordinating schedules, guiding student aides, and keeping labs clean and organized. Relevant nursing didactic and hands-on experience is essential.

Formación

• Diploma in Practical Nursing with current BC registration.
• 2–4 years related experience in instructional lab support.
• Experience maintaining medical supplies and lab equipment.

• Maintains medication carts.
• Maintains the lab schedule.
• Performs other related duties as required.

This position is responsible for providing instructional support, conducting demonstrations and assisting students as well as ensuring that supplies, equipment and instructional aids are maintained and prepared as needed.

1. Conducts laboratory demonstrations and supervises laboratory activities.

Education and Experience

• Diploma from a 2-year Community College or institution in Practical Nursing and 2 - 4 years’ related experience including current registration and practicing license with the BC College of Nurses & Midwives.
