Job summary

Nova Scotia Health is seeking a Lecturer for the BScN program at the Western Zone, Yarmouth Regional Hospital. The role involves curriculum development, planning, implementing and evaluating student learning experiences in collaboration with Dalhousie University School of Nursing.

Requirements include RN with undergrad, a master’s degree preferred, NSNMR in good standing, and 2+ years of recent clinical experience. A joint appointment and teaching leadership are expected.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with undergraduate nursing degree and a master’s degree preferred.
• Current NSNMR registration in good standing.
• 2+ years clinical experience within last 24 months, medical-surgical preferred.
• BSCN teaching experience and leadership in education.
• HCP-C certification and joint appointment with Dalhousie University.

Responsibilities

• Participate in curricula and program development for the BScN program.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate student learning experiences.
• Collaborate with Dalhousie University School of Nursing and Nova Scotia Health.
• Demonstrate ethical practice, leadership, and active learning facilitation.
