Job summary

Health Association Nova Scotia – Bridgetown, NS, Canada is seeking Registered Nurses to join an interdisciplinary team across long-term care or home care. whether recently licensed or experienced, you will be matched with an employer in Nova Scotia\'s Western Zone and supported throughout the recruitment process.

You will provide safe, compassionate care, administer medications, participate in care planning, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Current RN license with the Nova Scotia College of Nurses (NSCN).
• Eligible for license in Nova Scotia.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, competent nursing care across the continuum of health and wellness for residents in long-term care.
• Administer prescribed medications and plan resident care in consultation with the multidisciplinary care team.
• Support diabetes management, dialysis, IV medications, palliative care, phlebotomy and wound care in home care settings.

Long-term Care

• Practice safe, compassionate, competent, and ethical care throughout the continuum of health and wellness of the residents.
