Job summary

AgeCare Ballycliffe in Ajax, Ontario is seeking a Temp. Nurse Educator (RPN/RN) to develop and implement teaching programs across staff, residents and families. The Educator will lead education initiatives leveraging adult learning principles in a corporate and site role, aligned with AgeCare’s guiding principles.

The role requires RN or Registered Nurse eligibility with CARNA/CRPNA, 3+ years in gerontology, and experience in education and quality management; CPR instruction would be an asset.

Qualifications

• Be an RN or Registered Nurse, registered with, or eligible for registration with CARNA or CRPNA.
• 3+ years continuing care/gerontology experience.
• CPR instructor would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement teaching programs using Adult Learning principles to connect with staff, residents and families.
• Provide instruction on orientation days and mandatory education to staff.
• Lead education and quality initiatives to align with best practice standards.
