St. Joseph’s Health System is seeking a part-time Medical Laboratory Assistant to support the HRLMP across Charlton, King, and West 5th campuses in Hamilton. The role involves specimen collection, phlebotomy, and LIS-based processing under supervision of an MLT.
The ideal candidate holds an OSMT MLAC, strong LIS skills, and excellent communication for teamwork in a fast-paced lab environment.

This position may be scheduled at any of the following sites: Charlton Campus (Hamilton Downtown), King Campus (Stoney Creek East Hamilton), West 5th Campus (Hamilton Mountain). Job Type: Regular, Part time. Contract Duration: (If applicable) 0 months. Number of Positions: 1. Union: OPSEU Local 206. Hourly Rate (Min / Max): $32.59 - $37.26. Schedule Work Days: Monday to Sunday. Time of Day: Afternoons, Days, Nights. Shift: Hours - 7.5. Shift Start: (If applicable).
Practical and performs under the supervision of a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) a variety of laboratory tests and procedures with accuracy and efficiency in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Hamilton Regional Laboratory Medicine Program (HRLMP).
