The Hamilton Regional Laboratory Medicine Program (HRLMP) unit at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist to perform transfusion medicine testing and related procedures across days and nights.

The Hamilton Regional Laboratory Medicine Program (HRLMP) is a collaborative program funded and operated jointly by Hamilton Health Sciences and St. Josephs Hospital. The Program is committed to change and innovation through education service and research to bring the highest quality science into healthcare for the benefit of the community and to participate in the clinical application and interpretation of the science.
In accordance with the vision mission values and goals of the Hamilton Regional Laboratory Medicine Program (HRLMP) and those of St. Joseph’s Healthcare you will be responsible for performing a variety of Transfusion Medicine related tests and procedures.
The role of the Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) involves the following:
