Job summary

Paladin Security is seeking a Healthcare Security Guard in the Greater Toronto Area. The role supports interior and exterior patrols, handles emergencies calmly, and enforces site policies.

Onboarding requires an Ontario Security Guard Licence, First Aid CPR Level C, and the ability to pass a Vulnerable Sector Check. We offer training and development, a competitive benefits package, uniform costs covered, license reimbursement, and paid training costs with a six‑month commitment.

Qualifications

• Authorized to legally work in Canada.
• Ontario Security Guard Licence required.
• First Aid & CPR Level C certificate required.
• Ability to clear a Vulnerable Sector Check during onboarding.
• 6+ months of customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive and reactive security patrols of interior and exterior areas, including in inclement weather.
• Respond to emergency, medical, and fire incidents while remaining calm and professional.
• Perform Patient Watch, investigate routine incidents, and enforce parking, smoking, and site by-laws.
• Maintain accurate reports and notes for incidents and end-of-shift documentation.
• Apply advanced de-escalation skills and enforce site policies, rules, and regulations.
• Work independently or as part of a team to complete assigned tasks and support site operations.
• Present a professional presence, uphold client and company expectations, and perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Description:

Please be aware: The MOAB/UoF training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite, however Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6 month commitment to the position/availability

• The MOAB/UoF training is held in person at the designated branch.
