Job Overview

This role provides technical assistance to computer system users, addressing questions and resolving issues related to hardware, software, printing, installation, email, and operating systems. It requires strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently with remote supervision.

Responsibilities
  1. Configure, install, and assist users with new computers and systems.
  2. Configure, install, and deploy servers and network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, and access points.
  3. Support wireless data networking systems and plant data centers.
  4. Manage security systems access controls.
  5. Support telecommunications infrastructure and mobile technology deployment.
  6. Log support calls and track requests through the Help Desk Ticketing System.
  7. Collaborate with operations teams to troubleshoot and develop technical solutions, including PLCs and automation devices.
  8. Maintain IT asset inventory and support print management and software solutions.
  9. Provide 24x7 on-call support for high-priority issues during assigned weeks.
Qualifications
  1. Associate’s degree with 5 years or Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of relevant IT support/infrastructure experience.
  2. Experience leading direct reports (2-3 years preferred).
  3. Server hardware experience, including RAID, VMWare, backup and recovery.
  4. Proficiency with Microsoft OS and applications such as Active Directory, Intune, SharePoint, Office365, Teams.
  5. Knowledge of networking concepts (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, VLAN, Wi-Fi, DHCP, DNS, Ethernet).
  6. Ability to make quick decisions independently and communicate effectively.
  7. Strong interpersonal skills and patience with users of varying skill levels.
  8. Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
  9. Creative problem-solving skills for hardware and software solutions.
  10. Professional certifications from Microsoft or Cisco are a plus.
Compensation
  • Salary Range: $81,275 - $101,648
  • Benefits include 401(k) with 6% match, annual bonus, merit increases, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, paid holidays, and fitness reimbursement.
