Job summary

Resorts of the Canadian Rockies in Fernie is seeking a friendly, safety‑minded bus operator to drive a 24‑passenger shuttle in winter conditions and assist guests with a warm, proactive service style. You will perform daily vehicle inspections, follow Safety Management Program procedures, and respond to guest requests, with early morning and evening shift availability.

Qualifications

• BC Class 2 Driver's License and/or Unrestricted Class 4 License.
• Willingness to work early morning and evening shifts.
• A positive, friendly personality with a willingness to engage guests.
• The ability to understands smart guest relations.
• Reliable transportation for variable shift starts.
• The skills to be safety orientated, reliable, and an independent worker.

Responsibilities

• Offer and maintain a friendly and helpful disposition to all guests at all times.
• Assist and up sell guests at every opportunity.
• Ensure public and personal safety at all times.
• Operate a 24-passenger bus during winter road conditions.
• Perform guest service-related tasks upon request of the Director and General Manager.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections including gas and oil checks/filling.
• Know and adhere to the policies, rules and protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook.
• Know and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management Program.
• Know and comply with all expectations of the Injury Management/Return-to-Work Programs.
• Perform other tasks and duties that are applicable.

Compensation And Benefits

• Competitive wage: $18.25- $21.00/hour, based on experience
