Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Supervisor - Mobile in Oshawa, ON to lead front-line security operations across multiple client sites. You will conduct mobile patrols, monitor CCTV and alarms, perform access checks, and coordinate with clients and authorities to protect people and assets.

Ideal candidates have a valid Ontario Security Guard License, a clean driving record, and are at least 25 years old.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm monitoring.
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
• Valid Ontario Security Guard License.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada over 40 hours per week.
• Must be able to provide a clear driver’s abstract and ON Full G license.
• First Aid and CPR
• Must be at least 25 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

• Conduct mobile patrols of designated areas to deter unauthorized activity and ensure safety.
• Monitor surveillance systems and alarms, respond to breaches or disturbances.
• Perform security checks of buildings and access points.
• Interact with clients, visitors, and employees, enforcing security policies.
• Report incidents and hazards to supervisors, documenting actions taken.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and responders during incidents.
• Maintain logs and records of patrols and incidents.
• Inspect security equipment and vehicles, report deficiencies.

Job Type: Full-Time

Shift Type: Mon-Fri 0300-1100 OR Two Week Rotation 1930-0730

Pay Rate: $18.19 - $19.19 per hour

Requirements: G License, Clean Driver's Abstract and 25 years age or above for insurance purposes.

Overview:

Allied Universal is currently hiring Security Supervisor - Mobileto provide professional, front-line security services for a various locations in the Oshawa area. As a Security Supervisor - Mobile, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring the safety of personnel, property, and assets through patrols, monitoring, and incident response. This position offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and advancement.

Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions:

• Conduct mobile patrols of designated areas, including parking lots, premises, and other high-traffic areas, to deter unauthorized activity and ensure the safety of personnel and property
• Monitor surveillance systems and alarms, promptly responding to any security breaches, disturbances, or suspicious activities
• Perform security checks of buildings, doors, windows, and other access points to prevent unauthorized entry and ensure compliance with security protocols
• Interact with clients, visitors, and employees, providing assistance, directions, and information as needed while enforcing security policies
• Report any security incidents, accidents, or hazards immediately to supervisors or appropriate authorities, documenting observations and actions taken
• Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and other security personnel to coordinate responses to incidents and emergencies effectively
• Maintain accurate logs and records of patrol activities, incidents, and observations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Conduct routine inspections of security equipment, vehicles, and emergency supplies, reporting any issues or deficiencies for prompt resolution
• Conduct risk assessments and security audits of client premises, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending security enhancements to mitigate risks
• Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge of security procedures, emergency response protocols, and relevant regulation
