Job summary

Alberta Health Services is seeking an Occupational Therapist I to provide client-centered OT services in Home Care Rural East (Chestermere). You will develop care plans, perform assessments, and deliver evidence-informed interventions to support independence and meaningful occupations among clients and families.

Expect travel within Rockyview County and collaboration with a wide healthcare team. You will engage clients in goal setting, educate families, and contribute to program development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program.
• Registered with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).
• Three years of recent home care or acute care experience in the last five years.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement occupational therapy care plans for home care clients and families.
• Provide evidence-informed OT interventions and collaborate with the inter-professional team.
• Engage clients in goal setting, triage, assessment, treatment, and transition support.
• Support quality improvement and participate in supervision and mentoring as applicable.
