Job summary

Assisted Living Alberta seeks an Occupational Therapist I to deliver client-centered OT services in home living programs. You will assess needs, set achievable goals, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to promote independence and enhance quality of life for clients across ages.

Responsibilities include triage, assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and collaborating with families and healthcare providers.

Qualifications

• Completion of bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program.
• Registered with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).
• Basic Life Support (BCLS HCP) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-informed OT services in clients' homes or care settings.
• Engage clients and families to enable meaningful occupations and independence.
• Perform triage, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and case management as part of a team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and support continuous quality improvement.
