Job summary

Rush Truck Centres of Canada is seeking a Mobile Lube Technician (Licensed 310T) to maintain fleet service for clients at our Sudbury location. The role involves 10-hour shifts, four days a week, with a $2.00/hr mobile premium.

Responsibilities include OHSA compliance, vehicle maintenance, inventory control, and after-hours availability. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 310T license, valid G Class with air brake endorsement, Driver’s Abstract, and a criminal background check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Licensed Truck and Coach Technician (310T) certification is required.
• Valid G Class driver’s license with air brake endorsement is required.
• Driver’s Abstract is required.
• Criminal Background Check is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure OHSA regulations and company safety policies are followed.
• Maintain equipment according to company standards.
• Work as a Mobile Technician and at the Sudbury location.
• Perform basic truck maintenance including fuel, oil checks, cleanliness, and inspections.
• Manage inventory on the service truck and ensure proper stocking.
• Report to the Service Manager and accept daily duties.
• Be available for after-hours service calls and flexible scheduling.
• Maintain and document tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Read job orders and diagnose vehicle malfunctions.
• Use diagnostic equipment to determine repairs and perform procedures.
• Communicate repairs and recommendations to customers and service writers.
