Rush Truck Centres of Canada in Timmins, Ontario, is hiring a Licensed or Apprentice Diesel Mechanic (Level 3/Technician) for a full-time permanent position at 2439 Riverside Drive, Timmins, ON P4R 1M9.

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will diagnose problems, repair trucks and trailers, read job orders, document work, and maintain a safe, clean shop environment. Competitive wages and relocation potential across Ontario offered.

Qualifications

• Licensed or registered as a 310T diesel mechanic.
• Minimum 2 years in a truck shop environment.
• Welding experience is an asset.
• Diagnostic tool experience is an asset.
• Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
• Criminal Record Check required.
• AZ/DZ license is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose problems and make repairs to trucks, buses, trailers, and other vehicles.
• Read job orders, observe and listen to vehicles to determine malfunctions and plan work.
• Perform general and detailed repair of engines and components.
• Document work performed and maintain safety practices.
• Attend training classes and keep up with factory bulletins.

We are looking for Licensed or Apprentice Diesel Mechanics Level 3/Technicians for our Timmins dealership located at 2439 Riverside Drive, Timmins, ON P4R 1M9. This is a full-time permanent position.

Reporting to the Service Manager, this position is responsible for diagnosing problems and making repairs to all types of trucks, buses, trailers, and other automotive vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations, as well as the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment
• Read job order, observe and listen to the vehicle in operation to determine the malfunction, and plan work procedures.
• Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines, and components.
• Document work performed.
• Overhaul gas or diesel engines.
• Examine protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks and make adjustments as needed.
• Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty.
• Attend training classes and keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Other duties may be assigned

Basic Qualifications

• Licensed or Registered Apprentice (310T)
• Minimum of 2 years work experience in a truck shop environment
• Welding experience is an asset
• Diagnostic tool experience is an asset
• Good communication skills and work attitude
• Quality Driven
• SAP experience is an asset
• Valid Driver's License and a good driving record
• Criminal Record Check
• Driver's Abstract
• AZ/DZ License is an asset
