Rush Truck Centres of Canada in St. Catharines, Ontario, seeks a Licensed 310S/310T or Apprentice Diesel Mechanic Level 3 for our St. Catharines dealership. This full-time, permanent role reports to the Service Manager and diagnoses and repairs trucks, buses, trailers, and other vehicles.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and make repairs to trucks, buses, trailers, and other automotive vehicles.
• Adhere to OHSA regulations and company safety policies.
• Read job orders and observe vehicle operation to plan work procedures.
• Perform general and detailed repair of engines and components.
• Document work performed and inspect work for quality.
• Overhaul gas or diesel engines and inspect safety devices.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and manage parts if under warranty.
• Attend training and stay current with factory bulletins.
• Other duties as assigned

We are looking for Licensed 310S or 310T or Apprentice Diesel Mechanics Level 3/Techniciansfor our St.Catharines dealership located at 260 Dunkirk Rd, St.Catharines, ON L2R 7K6. This is a full-time permanent position.

Reporting to the Service Manager, this position is responsible for diagnosing problems and making repairs to all types of trucks, buses, trailers, and other automotive vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations, as well as the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment
• Read job order, observe and listen to vehicle in operation to determine malfunction and plan work procedures.
• Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines and components.
• Document work performed.
• Overhaul gas or diesel engines.
• Examine protective guards, loose bolts and specified safety devices on trucks and make adjustments as needed.
• Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty.
• Attend training classes and keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Other duties may be assigned
