Rush Truck Centres of Canada in Timmins, ON is seeking Licensed or Apprentice Diesel Mechanics Level 3/Technicians for our Timmins dealership.

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will diagnose problems, perform repairs on trucks, buses, trailers and related equipment, and document all work while upholding OHSA safety standards. This is a full-time permanent role with relocation potential and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Licensed or Apprentice (310T) in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years in a truck shop environment.
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
• Criminal Record Check and Driver's Abstract.
• AZ/DZ license is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and repair trucks, buses, trailers and related vehicles.
• Follow OHSA regulations and the Company Health and Safety Policy.
• Read job orders, observe operation, and plan repair procedures.
• Perform general and detailed repair of engines and components.
• Document work performed and maintain a safe environment.
• Overhaul gas or diesel engines.
• Inspect safety devices and tighten where necessary.
• Attend training and review factory bulletins.
• Maintain safe and clean work area and assist with warranty parts handling.

We are looking for Licensed or Apprentice Diesel Mechanics Level 3/Techniciansfor our Timmins dealership located at 2439 Riverside Drive, Timmins, ON P4R 1M9. This is a full-time permanent position.

Reporting to the Service Manager, this position is responsible for diagnosing problems and making repairs to all types of trucks, buses, trailers, and other automotive vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations, as well as the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment
• Read job order, observe and listen to the vehicle in operation to determine the malfunction, and plan work procedures.
• Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines, and components.
• Document work performed.
• Overhaul gas or diesel engines.
• Examine protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks and make adjustments as needed.
• Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty.
• Attend training classes and keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Other duties may be assigned

Basic Qualifications

• Licensed or Registered Apprentice (310T)
• Minimum of 2 years work experience in a truck shop environment
• Welding experience is an asset
• Diagnostic tool experience is an asset
• Good communication skills and work attitude
• Quality Driven
• SAP experience is an asset
• Valid Driver's License and a good driving record
• Criminal Record Check
• Driver's Abstract
• AZ/DZ License is an asset
