Rush Truck Centres of Canada, part of Rush Enterprises, is hiring Licensed or Apprentice Mechanics Level 3/Technicians for our Sudbury dealership at 1035 Falconbridge Rd. This full-time permanent role reports to the Service Manager and involves diagnosing and repairing trucks, buses, trailers and other vehicles.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and make repairs to trucks, buses, trailers and other vehicles
• Read job orders and determine malfunction and plan work procedures
• Perform general and detailed repair of engines and components
• Document work performed
• Overhaul gas or diesel engines
• Check safety devices and adjust as needed
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Attend training classes and stay current with factory bulletins

We are looking for Licensed or Apprentice (310T, 310S, 310J ) Mechanics Level 3/Techniciansfor our Sudbury dealership located at 1035 Falconbridge Rd, Sudbury, ON P3A 4M9. This is a full-time permanent position.

Reporting to the Service Manager, this position is responsible for diagnosing problems and making repairs to all types of trucks, buses, trailers, and other automotive vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations, as well as the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment
• Read job order, observe and listen to the vehicle in operation to determine malfunction and plan work procedures.
• Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines, and components.
• Document work performed.
• Overhaul gas or diesel engines.
• Examine protective guards, loose bolts and specified safety devices on trucks and make adjustments as needed.
• Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty.
• Attend training classes and keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Other duties may be assigned
