Rush Truck Centres of Canada, part of Rush Enterprises, is hiring a Licensed or Apprentice Diesel Mechanic Level 3 for our Markham dealership at 8240 Woodbine Ave. This full-time permanent position reports to the Service Manager and fixes trucks, buses, trailers and related equipment.

You will read job orders, diagnose issues, perform engine overhauls, document work, maintain safety, and participate in ongoing OEM training.

Qualifications

• Licensed or registered apprentice (310T or 310S) in good standing.
• Strong communication skills and positive work attitude.
• Quality-driven with attention to detail.
• SAP experience is an asset.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Criminal record check required.
• AZ or DZ license is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and perform repairs on trucks, buses, and trailers.
• Read job orders, observe vehicle operation to plan work.
• Perform general and detailed repairs on engines and components.
• Document work performed and maintain safety.
• Overhaul gas or diesel engines and inspect safety devices.
• Manage parts for warranty and attend training.
• Keep work area safe and clean.
• Attend factory bulletins updates and maintain a safe environment.

We are looking for a Licensed or Apprentice Diesel Mechanics Level 3/Technicians for our Markham dealership located at 8240 Woodbine Ave, Markham, ON L3R 2N8. This is a full-time permanent position.

Reporting to the Service Manager, this position is responsible for diagnosing problems and making repairs to all types of trucks, buses, trailers, and other automotive vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance of all Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations, as well as the Company's Health and Safety Policy.
• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment
• Read job order, observe and listen to vehicle in operation to determine malfunction and plan work procedures.
• Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines and components.
• Document work performed.
• Overhaul gas or diesel engines.
• Examine protective guards, loose bolts and specified safety devices on trucks and make adjustments as needed.
• Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty.
• Attend training classes and keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Other duties may be assigned
