Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Regional Sector Leader for Mining in Canada East (Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick). This seller/doer role drives client relationships, sector strategy, and pursuit leadership, coordinating with BCPLs, AMs, and technical leaders to grow market position and deliver strategic projects across the region.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 15+ years in the sector (10+ in pursuits), and travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 15 years of experience within your sector, including 10 years of direct involvement in or managing pursuits/proposals for delivery of engineering design and/or construction services.
• Ability to travel up to 20% and work outside normal hours of operation.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Identify regional sector growth opportunities and pursue winning pursuits.
• Develop long-term strategy with regional clients and projects.
• Meet regional sector targets and participate in go/no-go decisions.
• Collaborate with BCPLs and AMs to align staffing and backlog.
• Lead and mentor a team of professionals to grow the business.
• Represent the sector in regional conferences and industry events.
