Job summary

Stantec is seeking a seasoned Business Center Practice Leader in the Canada East Region to drive growth for Energy & Resources. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on pursuit activities, working with Regional Sector Leaders and Account Managers to expand client base and revenue.

The BCPL will lead the annual marketing and BD plan, manage opportunity forecasting, and partner with other leaders to drive collaboration across geographies.

Qualifications

• 15 years of mining sector experience in Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Canada.
• 10+ years of direct involvement in or managing pursuits/proposals for engineering design and/or construction services.
• Experience with responding to RFIs, EOI, SOQ.

Responsibilities

• Lead the business development and sales strategy for the BC; manage growth across geographies.
• Inspire and motivate the team to deliver innovative design solutions during pursuits.
• Represent the BC in public speaking and industry events; build client relationships.
• Oversee risk management, contracts, and proposals on large pursuits.
