Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Regional Sector Leader (RSL) for the Mining sector within the Canada East Region (Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick). You will lead growth, pursue major projects, and collaborate with regional leaders to advance the sector.

Travel up to 20% and mentorship of staff are expected as part of shaping the region’s delivery and client relationships. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and at least 15 years in the sector, including 10+ years in pursuits or

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of experience within your sector, including 10 years of direct involvement in or managing pursuits/proposals for delivery of engineering design and/or construction services.

Responsibilities

• Strategy—drive sector growth, identify opportunities, and develop regional plans.
• Business development—meet regional sector targets and lead pursuits.
• Team collaboration—coordinate with BCPLs, AMs, and practice leads to staff and deliver projects.
• Staffing—recruit professionals to meet regional resourcing needs.
• Branding—support sector branding and participation in conferences and sponsorships.
