Job summary

Red Seal Recruiting Ltd. is seeking a skilled Millwright for a busy, family-owned manufacturing operation in Vaughan.

The role focuses on keeping production on track through troubleshooting, repair and preventative maintenance of industrial machinery. Ideal candidates have 3 years of mechanical maintenance experience and a 433A Millwright background, with knowledge of hydraulics and basic electrical systems.

Qualifications

• 433A Millwright certification preferred; experienced candidates without a ticket will be considered.
• Approximately 3 years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills; working knowledge of hydraulics and basic electrical systems.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery, production systems and custom equipment.
• Adjust machinery, work with bearings, motors, etc.
• Complete preventative maintenance and update work orders in a computerized maintenance system.
• Minimize downtime and identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and production efficiency.
• Follow workplace safety, food safety, and sanitation requirements.
• Support production needs with voluntary overtime as required.
