Job summary

Red Seal Recruiting Ltd. is seeking a mechanically skilled tradesperson to maintain and repair industrial machinery in a family-owned manufacturing setting. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and improving equipment reliability to support steady production.

Ideal candidates have 3 years of maintenance experience, hydraulics and basic electrical knowledge, and a Mecanical Millwright background; 433A preferred or equivalent experience. London, Ontario area.

Qualifications

• 433A Millwright certification is preferred, but experienced candidates without a ticket will be considered.
• Refrigeration B Operator certificate is an asset.
• Approximately 3 years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and working knowledge of hydraulics and basic electrical systems.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and production systems
• Adjust machinery, work with bearings, motors, etc.
• Complete preventative maintenance and update work orders in a computerized maintenance system
• Minimize downtime and identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and production efficiency
• Follow workplace safety, food safety, and sanitation requirements
• Support production needs with voluntary overtime as required
