Job summary

FWS Group of Companies is a fully integrated design, engineering, construction, and maintenance services firm. We are recruiting for Millwrights to join our collaborative and team-focused organization.

As a Millwright, you will perform welding, ironwork, or mechanical tasks, read drawings, and ensure safe operation of equipment. Applicants should be in industrial mechanics or in an Apprenticeship, have a valid driver’s license, and be willing to a 21/7 rotation with time away from home.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial mechanics or currently enrolled in an Apprenticeship Program.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Willing to work a 21/7 rotation with extended time away from home.
• Own and maintain basic trade tools.
• Drug & Alcohol testing may be required for certain job sites.

As a Millwright, you will provide support to the department and Superintendent.

Position Overview

• Responsible for welding, ironwork, or mechanical related tasks.
• Accurately and effectively uses various types of millwright precision tools.
• Responsible for safe use of equipment including forklift, skid steer loader, scissor lifts, and power tools.
• Reads and understands construction drawings, including providing accurate layout of the work and building to drawings and specifications.

Qualifications Needed

• Appropriate level of experience in industrial mechanics or enrolled in an Apprenticeship Program.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required.
• Must be able to work a 21/7 work rotation with extended time away from home.
• Own and maintain basic trade tools.
• Drug & Alcohol testing may be required for certain job sites.
