Job summary

Northland Properties Corporation (NPC) in Vancouver, BC is seeking a POS Support Specialist to maintain and optimize restaurant POS systems across multiple locations. You will be the primary contact for POS-related issues, menu programming, and system configuration.

The role requires experience with Oracle Micros Simphony, strong knowledge of restaurant operations, and collaboration with Operations, IT, and Restaurant Teams to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting POS systems in a restaurant, hospitality, or retail setting.
• Experience with menu programming, pricing maintenance, and POS configuration.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day POS support across multiple restaurant locations.
• Diagnose and resolve POS hardware, software and configuration issues.
• Escalate complex issues to vendors or IT partners as needed.
• Assist with menu programming, pricing and promotions within Simphony.
• Maintain POS system documentation and operation procedures.
• Train and support restaurant managers and staff on POS usage.
